It's structurally no different than the bumper on your car. The black part is just painted. Several members on this site have painted theirs similar to the picture you have provided. I'm thinking about doing that to my car too!

yup, just come paint on there.. you wouldnt notice a difference if you just painted it, plus, i dont think you could buy a anniversary part like that, maybe from gm, but that would be so much money,
