It seems like everyone is offering the 4" cowl and the only 3" Ive come across is the Harwood, but its different from the traditional style cowl. I was thinking of getting a 4" from VFN, but now that I think about it, a 3" would be better. I think it would fit my tastes better. The 4" is definately mean, but may be too much for me. I believe that if many of you agree that a 3" would be more appealing and post it here, then maybe VFN will start making them. So if you have some input on this, let us know. Thanks.

 

there are a couple people that make a 2 3/4's or at least there was when i was looking into them. i was going to get a 4" glasstech but i didnt have time to wait for it to get built because it was an insurance job.

Already working on it - We are currently working on a project for a 3" smooth cowl hood, please check out the thread under appearance/detailing - opinions please?
There are several attachements on the thread to show ideas that we are working on...please feel free to let us know what you think....with ideas and opinoins from everyone on the board we hope to have a hood that will look great...
We're hoping to have the new hood available in the next few months...

VFN, I was referring to the traditional style cowl hood in a 3". The only sizes you offer is the 2" and 4". I would LOVE to have a 3" like the style that you offer in the 2" and 4". In my opinion, I think the 3" would sell like crazy.

If there was enough interest on the board, I would definately check with the owner about making this style hood....unfortunately up to this point though, we really have not recieved many calls looking for a 3" traditional cowl hood....

How about any 2" SS hoods for the Camaro?

 

I have the harwood 3" cowl hood and I am very pleased, I had a vfn 3" SS and it wasn't good quality so I went with the harwood and I love it. I would recomend the harwood over any.
