2005 parts availability

Hey guys,
I need to know where to get a hood for a 2005 Mustang. I plan on making some parts from it. I have a quote of $690 for the hood but wanted to see if there is anywhere else I can get it for a better price. I've tried to look on carparts.com but it won't let you get anything for a 2005 yet. Related GM stuff is I will be looking into building parts for the GTO and the new G6 next. Thanks for any help you can give.

Ford part number is 5R3Z16612AA for the mudstang hood.

Have you tried asking on a Mustang site like www.corral.net ?

No I haven't but thanks for the tip. I've NEVER had any use for Mustangs in my 15 years of driving until now

check autoweeks website.. they had a mag with a list of 05 parts manufacturers.. there is probably 1 that does hoods.. good luck

Cool,
I just need a hood to do my own mold for my design. Hope to sell a few when it's all done, as we all hope to.
