Hey guys, I was wondering if white leather interior was available in 98-02 trans ams, other than the 30th anniversary, thanks.

No. Only the special edition cars got that. 1996 Comp T/A and the 30th Anniversary cars got it. I can't think of any others that even might have had it.

i believe the 30th anniversary was the only one that came with white leather

btw 1994 25th anniversary also did, i don't believe the 96 ta did (i didn't even know there was a 96 special edition anything), and there's a 35th anniversary ta??

Yep, for 35th anniversary of Firebird overall rather than just Trans Ams... description and photos can be seen near the bottom of http://tachrev.com/Web_Pages/4th_Gen_TA.html

The only '98-'02 'bird offered with white interior was the '99 30th Anniversary T/A. I've seen a blue '99 Formula with the white interior and the blue wheels, but that was a custom swap.

The "2003" GM Performance T/A concept car had bright blue interior. It was a sister car to the "2003" GM Performance Sunoco-inspired Camaro concept car.

One that I've found to be rare to a lot of people are Pewter Metallic 'birds with the taupe interior. Ebony interior seems to be more common for the Pewter cars. My 'bird is Pewter Metallic with a taupe interior, and I've had several people make comments to me about how they've never seen one before mine. The rareness is probably just a fluke...

Technically the "35th Anniversary" 2002 T/A was only referred to as the "Collector Edition". The Camaro had the special model marketed as a "35th Anniversary" car.

Actually I misstyped that. I meant to type 30th. For some reason I usually end up with a 5 instead of a 0.

However I disagree on the point of the collectors edition being a 35th anniversary car. If in 1994 they released the 25th anniversary car, and in 1999 they released the 30th, then there is no way that a 35th anniversary car could have been done in 2002. Not when all anniversary cars have been done consistantly 5 years apart since the first 10th anniversary car. 2002 would have officially been the 33rd anniversary.

The Firebird has been in production from 1968 (1969 model year) to now. Count forward and that's 33 years.

The Camaro began in 1967. A full two years before Firebird production began. The Camaro had a 35th anniversary, but the Firebird/Trans-AM did not.

Now if there were prototype cars or whatever before the official production began, GM's official stance is that production went from 1969 to 2002. Hence why we've had anniversaries in 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, and 1999. The Collectors Edition simply marked the end of the Firebird/Trans-AM production line, but in no way was an anniversary car. Simply just the last collectable version of the car.

those are T/A anniversarys, not firebirds. 94 25th wat T/A(dunno color), 97 30th was firebird(white with blue), 99 30th was T/A(white with blue), and 02 CETA was firebird(yellow and black). and firebird began late 67.

97 30th anniversary was the camaro (white with orange stripes and white/plaid seats) and the 94 25th was white with one blue stripe down the middle

you can't have a 30th anniversary for the ta both in 97 and 99 ... i'm guessin you just made a typo like firehawk made in his first post, but i'm with him 100% on his last post.

btw, i think the initial question that this thread was started for has been answered ... 99 30th ta was the only 98-02 ta to have white leather as you had thought
