what's involved in a halo install??? i've done a search on this and couldn't find anything that made me want to run out and buy these. i like the way they look but if they are a pain in the ass to splice into the stock harnesses i don't want to bother. (i've heard that the cheap ones just have pigtails on the back that all need to be spliced in.) where can i find a set that are direct plug-ins on the hi-beams and lo-beams (as in no cutting and splicing)??? i know obviously i'll have to tap something for power to the halos and that's not a big deal i just want as few wires to deal with as possible. as for the halos, i would probably splice them into the fog lamps so i could flip on just the fogs and halos. lastly, who makes the best quality lights??? i've seen em on ebay for around 140 a set? are these any good or should i look for more expensive ones from a different company??? (must be black by the way, no chrome) any input is appreciated. |
My install was easy.. Remove old headlights. Install halos. 4 wire taps to tap into the wires at the foglights. The end. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ardomain11.jpg |

So when exactly do these come on if you splice into the fog lights? Im trying to get an idea of when the halo's are actually on, and what these look like at all times. At night when the fog lights are on can you see the halo's? |
They come on whenever you have the fog lights on and yes with them both on you can see them very well! |

I paid $125 or $130. |
I have seen them on ebay. I also heard that they let water in does anyone have this problem? |

hey im interested in getting some myself, but my foglights will only go on when my headlights turn on. I would like to have the halos on all the time tho, can this be done? |

1 Attachment(s) mine was a snap to go in. no problems over here. i love driving around at night with these things on.. definatley a crowd pleaser. |
