what's involved in a halo install???
i like the way they look but if they are a pain in the *** to splice into the stock harnesses i don't want to bother. (i've heard that the cheap ones just have pigtails on the back that all need to be spliced in.)
where can i find a set that are direct plug-ins on the hi-beams and lo-beams (as in no cutting and splicing)??? i know obviously i'll have to tap something for power to the halos and that's not a big deal i just want as few wires to deal with as possible.
as for the halos, i would probably splice them into the fog lamps so i could flip on just the fogs and halos.
lastly, who makes the best quality lights??? i've seen em on ebay for around 140 a set? are these any good or should i look for more expensive ones from a different company??? (must be black by the way, no chrome)
any input is appreciated.
Remove old headlights.
Install halos.
4 wire taps to tap into the wires at the foglights.

You could easily wire them to their own switch, but I was lazy. I may eventually do it.
I paid $125 or $130.

if you really want them to come on all the time, you can either wire them to a 12V ignition switch source (so you can't leave them on) or wire them to the DRLs (my preference).
