My friend put a T/A spoiler on his Formula. I say it's yours, so do with it what you like. My only problem with his is that it is a Formula Firehawk, which is pretty rare.

I wouldn't do it for two reasons. One, I think Formulas are great looking cars how they sit (personal preference). And two, being that your car is a hardtop 6-speed Formula it's one of the lightest Firebirds.

I bought a Formula because it didn't have the TA spoiler. Also for the hardtop
instead of T-tops. Personally I think the Formula has the best profile and
overall look, especially with the firehawk(or raptor) hood. The lines are just
about perfect with that hood.

How much more does the TA spoiler weigh than the formula one? Its not going to be enough to make a difference and the TA spoiler works as a splitter at high speeds also.
You'll love the look of the spoiler in your rear view, get the TA spoiler.

ok, so its 5 TA spoiler votes to 2 formula ones... hmm.. i kinda like the formula one, just because its a major part of the body, kinda distinguishes it from a ta if youre pulling up behind it. hmm, ill see what other people have to say..

The T/A may weigh a bit more, but it does look better and it doesn't trap water. The way the Formula holds water is just awful. Opening the hatch after a rain is a PIA. But, I wanted the Formula for weight and sleekness, so....

I have a 2000 Formula and I thought about getting the TA spoiler also until I saw a silver formula with big rear tires and a ws6 hood. It looked really sweet. I'm modeling mine after that one. Also, there's a guy on here somewhere that put the spoiler on his (Formula or V6, not sure) and it looked terrible. It looked like a jacked up TA because it did not have the ground kit. Maybe if the car was lowered to the right height it would look better.
