Default CF Berger Panel

It just hit me.I was thinking about painting ( or using black vinyl) my rear valence panel black then it hit me..I could use CF Vinyl....

It would match my CF mirror covers....

Cool. If you have the money, why not flaunt it? It's been done before, but far less often than those that are painted.

Better idea, just buy the C/F panel. GTP has it.

Anything that is lighter and stronger should not be considered "ricey"!

What is GTP?

tail light panel don't weigh anything to begin with and it surely don't need to be stronger unless you plan on hitting it with a BFH. my friend has a carbon fiber SS hood on his cavalier and i don't think it's really any lighter. i think he gets mad at me when i tell him we should paint it.

he is thinking about using CF vinyl, not real CF. so it wont be lighter, it will just have the look of CF. it would look pretty good, i dont think i would do it, but to each his own. post some pics if you do it.

It is VIS or GTP that makes it they also have C/F doors,hatches,fenders,mirrors,fueldoor,ect.......

They are a import car part company but make many other parts! Very nice stuff.

And Carbon fiber is not RICE as the fastest cars in drag racing are all carbon fiber bodys. Would you call BBC 6second camaro "rice"? I on the other hand any car that has alot of show of race stuff and no go is rice if you ask me!

Yeah..its not worth 300 bucks....Im not trying to save weight..I just thought that If I was gonna blacken out the panel..I might as well have it look diffrent..from a distance it would look just like a Berger panel but then when you got right up on it you'd see the CF...

Thansk for the link BTW..

Someone did that awhile back but they sent the stock panel in to get covered in synthetic carbon fiber.

Here's his pics I can't remember his name though.
