Thanks for the kind words gang....didn't know this thread was still going. I replaced all of the lights except the ones in the HVAC and radio. Definitely a cool mod. For the SS rear view mirror, it takes some ingenuity, but it is actually pretty simple overall. Take yours apart and look at it.

The problem for me is not the LED wiring, its the actual disassembling of the mirror. Did you take the glass out? I was looking at it and cant figure out how to take it apart. I managed to take out the clear lens but cant move the reflective piece to get at the wiring for the light if thats how you did it. Any tips would really help out. Thanks

I removed the clear lenses and fabbed the LED w/resistor to fit in the sockets from the original bulb. No need to disassemble the refelector and mirror housing beyond that.

I'll definitely have to give it a try. I ordered some LEDs Tuesday because your pics look great with it only being a simple, cheap mod. I didn't realize LEDs were so simple to hook up. Like the Z06. My car has a blue theme inside too. Blue looks sweet at night!

Here we go. Seems as though the DC forum updated it's image storage folder and the links aren't valid. Diesel, let me know when you fix the links (just copy these image addresses) and I'll remove the pictures from this post.
