underbody
underbody Has anyone made or know someone who has made some type of underbody for their camaro like the corvette or other high performance cars? If there was some way to cut peices of fiberglass or carbonfiber to fit under the car so it was flat and smooth from front to rear, it would greatly increase the aerodynamics of the car and it's over top speed. I'm thinking about trying to make something up, but would like some input on the idea. Thanks

Ask the question in the Northwestern section and ask for Boyce or Bill, they are off road racers and if you are looking for top speed they know everything. Also Boyce races his 4th gen SS (not streetable) and Bill races a 4th gen TA at the Silver State Classic. They know all about the areodynamics of high speed. 178 mph most all the way.

hmm id ask a computer enginer that has a super computer and stuff. or just find a totalled ferrari 360 and take their underbody and try to get it to fit. good luck, thats gonna take a ton of work and alot of mathmatics.

Interesting idea, and it'd definately make detailing the underside of the car for shows a lot easier.
