Any ideas of how to hide that hole and make it look ok?
take off the 3 screw bracket. look at the bracket, there is a spring with a washer. There is metal bent around to hold the washer/spring on (like a rivet sort of). If you grind down that metal or take pliers and bend/break it off, the washer and spring can come off. Then you take the bracket and slide it off the "L-arm" (it only gets held on by that metal around the washer). you will be left with the triangular bracket and you can screw it back in to cover up the hole in the headliner. Im going to go to home depot/lowes and get a little rubber plug to plug up the hole inside the bracket.
If you wanted to fix a broken visor assembly I think you can reassemble the spring and washer, and then find a screw to screw into the little hole inside the "L-arm". If you get a good screw to fit tight in there it should thread into the metal and retain the washer/spring and hold the assembly together again. Every time you rotate the visor to the left or right (not up of down) it puts tension on this spring so it may strip out the screw, so maybe dont do that too much.
