It's not really unfortunate, it's just not his job. There are plenty out there that work fine.
I buy mine from www.pakshak.com and www.dftowel.com

Ok, I'm an idiot, please help me in great detail, let me know what to buy and I will follow like a lemming.
Washing (mitts):
http://www.dftowel.com/ordermitt.html
http://www.tropicarecarproducts.com/...2&cat=3&page=1
Drying: I'm sold on the Waffle Weave towel, but which one?http://www.tropicarecarproducts.com/...3&cat=3&page=1 has a slightly smaller towel but only $9.99 compared to $18.00 @ http://www.pakshak.com/waffle-weave-...l-25x36-1.html
Polish Application:
http://www.dftowel.com/orderapp.html &
http://www.tropicarecarproducts.com/...1&cat=3&page=1 both have one.
Polish removal/detailing:
http://www.dftowel.com/ordertowels.html Are these microfiber? is there a border around all the towels? I thought we are supposed to stay away from that.
http://www.tropicarecarproducts.com/...home.php?cat=3 has a couple different towels.
http://www.pakshak.com/ultra-plush-p...l-16x16-1.html &
http://www.pakshak.com/ultra-fine-mi...l-16x16-1.html
What is the difference between the Ultra plus and the Ultra Fine Micro Fibers?
Aren't we suppose to stay away from colored towels?
I appreciate anyones help on this.

I use a Eurow sheepskin mitt to wash - I get them at Wal Mart - find the plushest.
I apply waxes/sealants with foam applicators available most anywhere.
Pak Shak's towels are my favorites (check your PMs).
Waffle weave for drying.
Ultra for polish removal and general detail work.
Ultra Plush & Ultra Fines for wax/sealant removal, QD, and final buffing.
