Poor guy is getting bashed....LOL!!!! Just as ZAngel indicated, just look for your code..mine is also NBM and havent had to time to look for mine.... Just get a high temp paint if you are using turbos. I do have to admit I about made a scene at work laughing at everyone's response here.

Good luck. Mike

I can't say how happy I am to see this thread go on!! I have'nt laughed out loud like that in a while!!!!

That being said let me give you something back.

If you want the paint more shiny, clear coat it. The factory kind of quit putting clear coat in door jambs and under hoods a few years ago. Your engine bay probably has no clear on it now.

If you want it to sparkle more, when you get your paint mixed have them add some larger metallic flake to the color. NMB does not have much metallic in it.

Or, you could spray a coat of clear with metallic added to it before the final clear coat.

I don't think there are any clears that are more heat resistant. Maybe fasten some stainless steel or something next to where the turbos run.

Hope this helps you "Repainhat shouldting" your engine bay!!!

But... the paint code is located on the door as Zangel said

HAHA I did not see that, I was typing the thread title on my laptop, and I bump the mouse pad with my hand when I'm typing sometimes and it puts the cursor back in the middle of the line!

Either that or I was drunk when I made this post

Not at all, I made the thread and forgot about it, just now started thinking about paint stuff again and came back to check up on it.
