Sunoco Gp
We really appreciate Steve coming by and lending us his car for the test fit. I just checked out the pics yesterday afternoon myself - I think it looks great!
We'll definately do a gp for the guys who would like the center line down the center of the scoop.
What I am doing now is collecting names for the gp list, sometime next week or so, I'll contact everyone for payment info.
The hood weighs in around 22-25lbs for a bolt on and a pin on will generally weigh in around 23-15lbs.
Thanks again everyone for the ideas which helped us make this great hood.
Jeanie
Thanks in advance
Carlos
Same here....
And for clarification one more time.... do you guys make a pin-on Mike Moran style hood..???
Dopefed - the pin on version will be ready the same time as the bolt on version. before gp discount, the price on the pin on would be $450.00/ $350.00 with the discount.
bmf - currently we do not have the mold completed with the center line, however, we are hoping to have these finished up very soon. The price would be the same for the hood - with or without the line. once the mold is finished, we'll definately grab some pics for everyone to check out.
camaro - no prob. you'll still recieve a discount of 10% off the price of the hood for being a ls1 member.
redrum - we still offer the pin on mike moran hood - we're a little backed up with our mold projects, as we were hoping to have the "mini mike moran" style hood completed already - probably in the next month or two (tops).
Thanks guys!!

I just don't care for the look of hood pins by the windshield.
Smokin~ on the pin on versions, there are no provisions for the hinges or struts. These are geared more for racing applications rather then street application. On the underside of these hoods, we add foam reinforcement along the bottom parimeter of the hood - so there is no frame on the underside to attach the hinges to. If you decide to use a pin on rather then the bolt on, I would not recommend only using the 4pin method to attach this to your car, as air can get underneath your hood and could pull it off the car on you. Also, you'll need to consider (if you are using this for street), on how convient it will be to remove the entire hood off the car if needed (emergency, oil change, etc).
m6z~ I recommend having the item delivered to either a business address or to pickup at the nearest freight terminal - which we can help locate for you. Doing one of these two options will save you additional residental delivery charges of about $50.00. Approx. freight to a business or terminal location will generally cost between $80-$100.00 and Approx. freight to a home address will generally cost between $130-$150.00.
sunsetz~ I would recommend shipping to the business or terminal location.
Approx. freight to a business or terminal location will generally cost between $100-$120.00 and Approx. freight to a home address will generally cost between $150-$170.00.
Ok - status update (i'm sure everyone is patiently awaiting
Thanks guys!!

We will probably offer this for the 93-97, however with the workload we currently have - realistically, we are probably looking at towards the end of summer/fall before it is available. After further review of the sunoco body kit pictures, I don't believe we are going to offer the wide fenders - the doors are different and so is the back half of the car...so if we offer the fenders we'll have to do everything. which is not a bad idea, but we have to look at time and of course getting the items to make molds from (which would be a problem in itself)....
we are hoping to finish up the hood with the center line in the next month - so if all goes well, end of april beginning of may.
i did not put a deadline on the gp - we have hit the 9 guys now.
i think we'll close off the gp for this particular style on april 8th....this should give everyone enough time to jump on if interested and give us enough time to get everything finished up on the hood. i am sorry but currently we do not have any additional pictures - except for what steve has sent us, but i think he pretty much has almost everything covered. if you need something a little more, please contact him and i am sure he'll be happy to help you out.
Thanks again guys!!
Jeanie
