LOL You cant really tell a difference in daylight. Even if you pulled into the garage still not going to see it. Give them a chance. I have them in my car and they are money well spent.

Yeah, I noticed a major differance with mine. I run them in both the Camaro and my Silverado, they are much brighter than stock. Are you looking for a bulb with a different color tint or something?

You wont get HID look without HID. The Silverstars appear to have a hint of blue to them. Compare at night with your brights. Flip them back and forth before you swap out the brights. HUGE difference. I never use my brights anymore. I have a set of silverstars for the brights but have yet to install them since I havent seen my car for 2 months but I cant wait to check them out.

EDIT: The blue tinted bulbs are horrible. They may look cool but you will not be happy driving with them. If you think they are OK in the dry wait till you get a rainy night. The rain will totally wash out the blue bulbs. I've had them all from street glow, nyoka(sp), eurolite, cool blue, apc, etc, etc. Out of all of them the Silverstar wins HANDS DOWN.

Yeah, the regular Silverstars look like stock when looking at them. I believe that there are Silverstars with a slight blue tint. I remember grabbing the wrong ones when I bought mine. They are deffinatly Sylvania's, I'm pretty sure they where under the Silverstar name.

There are different models... like 9005 and 9005 ST. No idea which is which or what the difference is!? Mine have a SLIGHT hint of blue or purple depending where you stand. Stand down the street and they are bright white with a slight hint of blue. Get right on them them look from the top at the housing and there is some purple.

they are all the same. the only difference is the angle of the connector. The high beams are not as blue as the low beam capsules though, but they SURE are bright.

I have them also and love them, much whiter light. You can really tell with the driving lights on, they're yellowish compared to the Silverstars. Do they have Silverstars yet for the driving lights?

Silverstars do exactly what they're supposed to...brighten up the road. They are just a completly brighter bulb all the way around and from far away they have a tint of blue. They appeared much whiter than stock IMO. I'd buy a set of them in a heartbeat, but it seems that the only sealed beams they don't make are the TA's. They make every other ******* sealed beam in Silverstars.

If you want them to look blue then just get those cheap shitty blue bulbs and you're set.

you got one thing right... Blue bulbs are shitty. Intense blue light is of such poor quality that the light waves just reflect off the road surface and they don't light up ****, specially in the rain. Its like driving with your lights off. Another thing, blue light does not provoke the eyes' natural pupillary reaction of contraction to light and you will hurt the eyes of oncoming drivers. Silverstars have a slight blue tint but the light is definetely white.

Lights don't usually bother me, but there's a guy around here that I'm pretty sure has an aftermarket HID kit on his Montero. He must have 10K bulbs because they are so intense that I had to almost completely stop in the road because they hurt my eyes so bad. That **** is just stupid and completely rude to anyone else that is on the road.

When I used to work at Pepboys I had people come in all the time and say they wanted brighter headlights. I took them straight to the silverstars everytime and I'd say 8/10 times the person was like "No I want ones that look blue", so I said ok, but they suck.
