HID experts get in here!!
HID experts get in here!! For starters this is a T/A question, so Camaro guys your input is welcome just please no "Well what i did on my car" or I don't know about you T/A guys, but the Camaros". No offense to you guys, it just seems like you forget all our parts aren't interchangeable.
On the back of an H4701 housing there is a circle of rubber around the prongs. If you take the rubber off you can see that the back of the housing the bulb is held in place exactly like an H3 bulb would be. So with the housing apart an H3 bulb can be mounted in the housing with no mods.
For you HID experts out there.
Shouldn't you be able to put an HID H3 bulb in there and mount it in exactly like you would the halogen H3?
Would this put off a reasonable light pattern?
