I'm pretty pissed off with the weatherstripping on my car. Everytime it rains or I wash the car the water gets in through the top weatherstripping, right on top the window glass to be exact. I have a 2001 pontiacTA ws6 with t-tops can anyone suggest a solution?

Mine leaks when i go thrue a carwash. But not in the rain though. I usually wash it by hand because of that reason or put a drip towel down were it leaks.
Maybe pick up some new stripping would be my guess if you cant put up with it.

Is your weather stripping in poor condition? Have you tried adjusting the window position? If the glass is sitting at the wrong angle, it won't seal against the weather stripping. Check out this site: http://shbox.com/1/adj_window.html

Every year I go over my weather stripping with GM dielectric grease. I remove the T tops, open both doors and the hood and hatch. I load the dielectric grease on the weather stripping and let it soak in over night. The next day I wipe off the excess grease and the weather stripping looks better than new. Maybe give this a try, could be your weather stripping is a bit dried out...

ssPetess, this also causes the stripping to expand a little bit which could improve sealing at least temporarily. It's also good maintenance!
