I just bought the Dupli-color caliper paint kit.

Has anybody used it before? Any tips? I probably wont use it for a week or 2, its not even in the 70's yet

how many coats did you end up needing? I bought the red kit if that helps.

2 coats.... its almost too easy. you could do 3 coats if you want but its not needed. Make sure the surface is clean, and paint away..

if you don't mind me asking. how much did it cost to shave your door handles? I mean the work, and the paint and the door poppers

most of the work i did my self... i took a few metal sculpting classes @ my comm. college last year... takes a lot of time... but its worth it... and the door poppers and actuators came in this "kit" for like 75 bucks...really i LOVE THE LOOK

around 200 for both sides.... and it wasnt the entire door, justy a part of it... but nbm is one of the hardest colors to match.... so i would rather fork over the $ and have it done right, thats why i paid kinda a lot...
