Painted Throttle Body And Valve Covers WHAT KIND OF PAINT AND CLEAR COAT IS EVERYONE USING TO PAINT EITHER THIER THROTTLE BODY OR VALVE COVERS??... JUST DUPLICOLOR PAINT AND CLEAR?... OR HIGH TEMP CLEAR AND HIGH TEMP PAINT??..... I HAVE SEEN VARIOUS PEOPLE ON THIS SITE WITH PAINTED VALVE COVERS AND THROTTLE BODY JUST WANT TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO GO ABOUT THIS DON'T WANT TO SCREW IT UP.. THANKS

Dupli-color high heat, high heat clear- put on lots of clear! Many coats of clear will keep the wet look for years. And make sure you disassemble the tb sand EVERTHING and mask correctly. Also, when I did mine I painted the tb, valvecovers, waterpump and the maf ends= BLING! Match that with an MTI clear air lid and the !wire mod and you're all set. 
Do the waterpump, you'll be glad you did, Also buy some spray break cleaner to clean the parts good after sanding, let the paint cure for at least a day.

I have a weiand polished manifold and was going for a polished and red engine bay in a white car... thinking of going with red tb, vc and mabye getting some frc's..... do you have any pics of your finished setup...

Take my word for it, the clear lid and the mods I've done looks tasteful and HOT!
