Default Removing window tint?

I got a ticket the other day for having window tint that is too dark. Of course, it is but I bought the car used and never really thought about it, althought I figured this would happen sooner or later.

So anyone know the best way to get that stuff off my car?

Thanks.

If you want to get it re-tinted with a lighter tint after removing the old tint, by far the best thing to do is get the tint shop to remove it when they put on the new tint, since otherwise they might charge you more if you don't get it all off properly before bringing it to them.

If you're sure you want to do it yourself, here's how: https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/91637-how-do-you-remove-tint-rear-window.html

Ive done mine 3 times and the neighbors windows once.

I always pull the tint off and leave the glue.I then use regular 409 and a razor.Ill let the 409 soak to loosen the glue.Hit it with a razor followed by a shot of 409 and a rag.It takes me 20 min. or less per door glass. My back window took me about an hour.

I know everyone has there own way on what works, and this has always worked for me.

Good luck, all ways are a pain in the a$$ and messy!
