If it starts as bright, the second dim filament will be flashing and you will not be able to see it.

In the stock setup, if the dim filament turned off when the bright one came on, then it would work, but it stays on.

Do you like the way it looks and works in the daytime?
Maybe there is a way to make the DRL module think the lights are offall the time, even when they are actually on at night. That might work, but I don't know how to trick the module without screwing something else up. I don't think it would be worth all the trouble.

Are your DRL housing in bad shape? I know when I put new ones in, they were a lot brighter. As they get older the chrome inside gets dull and makes them not as bright. New one's run about $25.

Yeah, that would definitely help. Mine are fogged and cracked. Thanks.

If you get new ones, get both or else one will be much brighter than the other. Also, these things will crack real easy from rocks, mine took about 2 days. So your best bet is to buy or make some covers to protect them, right away.

If your bulb holders are rusty, Autozone carries new ones for about $6. With all new stuff, you won't have to worry about the bulbs always going out.
