Default 4th gen Fbodies have a cabin filter?

I'm thinking they dont, but i was shocked when i found out my civic does.

Cabin filter??? I'm guessing that this would have something to do with the HVAC system on the car? More info on this please.

black box meaning the "in flight" recorder. Has a tape of the last 10 seconds of driving. Insurance type thing. I'll see if I can find the link.

hey now, the civic gets almost 40mpg beats the 18-20 i get in my TA then again, doesnt quite have the same PiMP factor lol

I know what your talking about in reagrds to the ECM (black box), but I'm not meaning that. I was thinking that what you guys were talking about was something to do with an airfilter that was a part of the heating and air conditioning. I know that some cars do have this, but I was not sure on the Fbody. That's where I was aiming at.

Yeah, Id like to know as well if the 98+ have a cabin filter, I didn't think they did.

hmm i stopped at Discount AutoParts last night to get a new filter for my civic. When i was looking in the Purolator book, i noticed that it listed a part # for a cabin filter for our F-Bodies. I guess it would be located behind the glove box like most cars? I'll have to take a look.

I was not able to find a reference to cabin air filters for any Camaros, and specifically the 98. Tried OReillys, Auto Zone, and some other place where I saw that many other GM products have them.
