Default To Flitz or Not to Flitz?

I know everyone has seen the Flitz commercials, but has anyone actually used it? Or does anybody have an idea what you can use to get rust off of Chrome rims. It is not from the rim itself it is dripping off the rotors and mixed with brake dust.

Thanks

I managed a plumbing supply store, and we sold that for years,I can remember selling it as far back as '97. They used it for restoring and maintaing faucets and plumbing fixtures. I guess it is OK but it is not a miracle cure. It still takes just as much elbow grease as anything else if your trying to bring rims back to life. Take it from someone who has used it to try and bring some fair shaped oem rims back to life.

i have used flitz on my TT2's it works great. i also used it on my old blazer's chrome bumper cause it had water spots and some rust deposits it worked like a charm... i would recomend it but if your not 100% test it out on a small spot on the rim it shouldnt scratch the chrome. let me know how it works.

I wouldnt trust it to my paint.

Meguiars is also selling a power ball now. Worked ok for me, got a little shine in no time, im sure taking more than 5 minutes on a TT2 would do wonders...
