? on lowering my car... hey everyone, i want to lower my car from the 4*4 look and i need some suggestions. i have FLP headers with the flp y pipe. i have as follows for susp already=all are BMR torque arm, panhard bar, subframe connectors, relocations brakets, lower control arms. so i don't want to go to low, i was thinking maybee 1" to 1.25 all around, what u guys think? i also have zr1's 17 by 9 in front and 17 by 11 in rear. also keep in mind MI roads are pretty bad

I run the Eibach pro-kit which lowers the car about 1.5". The eibach sportlines lower the car about 1.8". Running the pro-kit with the LT's and Ypipe isnt all that bad. I mean, you need to be careful where you drive and avoid major obstacles. As long as the ypipe is "level" and doesn't hang lower on either side, then you should be okay. Another thing to consider is with tires.....you could always go 0.5"-1.0" bigger in OD of your tire. This would give you ground clearance while staying lowered with the springs. This will reduce the chance of scraping your crossmember and ypipe on stuff. I don't know much about "how big you can go" but it may be worth a search and/or post in the wheel and tire forum.
In conclusion, the eibach pro-kit rides well for a lowered spring. The car is not too low where I can't drive it anywhere. I just use common sense when driving. By the way, this is my daily driver so I encounter various "obstacles" daily.
