Cool Finally! Lowered the T/A

Finally lowered the Trans Am saturday. I left the rear isolators on for now, but I am going to re-evaluate the look of the rear after a few days when it settles before deciding to take them off or not. But here it is in its current state. What do you guys think?

man that is sweet looking. I love the stance! Really sets the wheels off. That is about where I want mine to sit whenever i get around to lowering it. I will definately have to check it out sometime. Maybe go for a test ride to see how it rides

Thanks guys. They are DMS springs. Yes, big brakes will be in the near future. I'm thinking Wilwood 13" drilled & slotted & 6 piston calipers

Hey Stryker, come to the sonic thing next sunday and I'll give you a ride.

Looks great Chad. Makes me wish I had gone with DMS springs. My BMR springs just sit too low in the back for my liking. Wheels look great too

love the car, love the rims.. Nice choice on the springs.. I had H&Rs, Granatellis and DMS... I hated them all but the DMS. I love the look and the ride quality is the same if not better than it was at stock!

Thanks guys.

It is approximately 1.4" lower initially before settling...

Yeah- ride quality is awesome. Only complaint is that the damn stock y-pipe scrapes a lot now. Guess its time for a better one that doesn't hang so low and actually flows better too.

your car looks AMAZING! Keep up the good work man... personally i would remove the last of the breed badge and the trans am door moulding, the look would flow better, but still your ride looks AMAZING.

Nice Vette in the background... ahha

Nice MECHAM hood, nice to see a change around here..

They are the rubber things on top of the rear springs that seperate the spring from the frame where it makes contact. They are approximately .5" thick, and some people just leave them out and put a slit garden hose or something over the top of the spring to seperate the metal.
