Default Vent
Had some work done on my car and now the air conditioner comes out the bottom. I when I move the control **** it can also come out the top but will not come out the regular vent for the air conditioner. What could it be?

It is probably the little vacuum line that attaches to the back of the intake manifold, right next to the MAP sensor. If that lines is not hooked up, you will only have defrost options, no a/c through the vents.

I found the unconnected vacuum line and plugged it in. Air conditioner and vents work fine now. Thanks for the info.
