Default Question about claying and waxing with vinyle graphics

Hey guys, I'm kinda new to all this detailing stuff. I am having vinyle graphics (stripes) put on my car right now. I'm pretty sure when I claybar the car, I need to work around the vinyle stripes, but how about when waxing? Do I need to avoid the stripes when I wax the car, or can I wax right over them? Sorry for the dumb-*** question, but honestly don't know.

don't clay the vinyl. You can wax the vinyl if you are hand-waxing. Don't use a buffer on them though, they might burn due to friction.

Yeah what Nine ball said

I would be careful waxing the vinyl too. You could get a nice build up of wax at the edges

i have actually clayed my stripes (vinyl) 3 times now with no problem.

with waxing however i tend to do an up and down motion towards the edge of the stripes, with again, no problems.
