I was just wondering what you guys put for your HP and TQ numbers rear wheel HP and TQ or crank thanks

how did you get your crank #s,I only have RW #s did you add a 12% loss from the crank to the wheels?

I'd go with crank numbers since that's what car companies have always done.

I think the general rule of thumb is 12% loss for manual and 15% for automatic. Can anyone confirm this?

i thought it was 13 for m6 and 17 for a4 not sure tho, but for some reason that comes to mind.

i would go with the crank #s since thats what the factory does

I'm using rear wheel hp for the decals I designed for my chrome valve covers...as much as I'd like to put 500 HP on them, I can whip out my dyno sheet showing 451rwhp if anyone calls BS...that's just me, though.

M6 Divide RWHP by .88
A4 Divide RWHP by .82

I took my RWHP 332 divided by .82=404 is that right 72 HP is a pretty big loss.what about TQ is that the same calculation?Ive been reading a thread called Interesting concept on drivetrain loss.Its so long I only got to the second page but it says that the % loss is just rule of thumb but a havent finished reading yet

Use the same numbers for TQ. Yes, automatics eat alot of horsepower.
