Default Intake Shine?

What would be the best product to use to get a really high gloss shine on the composite factory intake? I know most stuff is'nt going to last long, but want it to shine up good for car shows.

WD-40 always works well.

I just spray mine really good with Meguiars Gold Class Vinyl/Rubber Protectant. It gives it a nice deep finish, and it's not overly glossy or tacky-looking (like Armor All)

I have sprayed engine blocks with base coat clear coat many times with great success, just like the paint on your car. Prep the plastic and clean many times. What ever type of paint products you use, follow there recomendations on the type of promoters used for plastic surface prep. Then apply your black base. Ok here is were you must pay attention. When mixing the hardener with the clear coat you must add 100% more, hardener. This allows the clear to set up but never fully cure, You may think adding more hardener will make it hard, but it doesnt, so the intake will dry to handle, and not print.

I had thought about trying the tire gel, I use Meguires Endurance High Gloss Gel on my tires and LOVE it. I just don't know what, if anything it would do negatively to the plastic composite of the intake? What kind of tire spray are you using? I've also got some Eagle One Wet tire spray, wonder how that would work?
