Default Can I take this off?

Ive got a '98 T/A and it has a protecting door ding strip that goes across the lower part of my car. Is it held on by double sided tape like the T/A emblems? Can I take it off by using the same steps? Heres a pic so you know what Im talking about.

Yes you can, and most people do. You can just peel it off. Then once its off you have to deal with getting all of the adhesive off. That can be done with your thumb, wd40, or a clay bar.

Seems like that strip will only help protect the car when you park near a pole (like what you see near a gas pump as gas stations). I try not to park in the crowded areas due to other people hitting my car anyway.

I decided to do it right away, I got both sides off along with most of the sticky tape. Im going to spray it with some bug and tar remover in a bit to finish it off. It looks much cleaner now!
