Default leather cleaner

i bought some meguiars spray on leather cleaner yesterday. any tips before i apply it? spray it on leather and then wipe it off? spray it on rag and then wipe it in? any known problems with using this cleaner/conditioner with our leather and/or vinyl? should i test it on a hidden location, or have you guys used this before, meaning there's no need to test.

I usually like to spray it on a rag or applicator and then rub the leather with it. It's almost always a good idea to test a new product in an inconspicuous location before applying to visible surfaces.

Meg's makes several different leather cleaning and conditioning products, which one did you buy?

What about cleaning the vinyl part of the seats with this stuff?

Also, any recommendations such as, not riding in the car for a period of time after application. Not leaving in sunlight for a period of time after app. Stuff like that?

That stuff works pretty well, although the smell of it kinda bothers me. I actually prefer the stuff from meguiars that comes in the squeeze bottle, the only problem is that its a type of cream and it gets stuck in all the little pinholes in the seats and doors.

I wouldn't apply Armor All to my garbage can! That's the same stuff I use, but I use the GC lotion and GC wipes on my car seats. For the rest of the interior I use NXT Tech Protectant.

I put some on a rag and wipe the seat. I use Tropi-care and I like it
