dual gauge pod not fitting right

dual gauge pod not fitting right SO like i just recently bought an autometer full pillar dual gauge pod for 93-02 t-top firebird cars. Figureing it would fit my 96 t-top camaro. I was wrong, anyone ever hack one of these up to fit in there camaro?

The full pillar gauge pods just don't fit on the 93-96 Camaros. I have a 94, and I bought a triple pillar gauge pod, but the upper vent was entirely in the way. You can hack it up, though I would just use one of the smaller ones. I hacked mine up, and I had to cut off a bunch to make it fit. The lowest gauge hits the dash, too.
