Ok, Export Tail Light Experts.... I've pick up a set from eBay and have just finished restoring them, wet sanding, and polishing, to almost "like-new" condition. Now, I'm ready to put them on.
The problem is that it appears the notches on the bulb receptacles on my '02 wiring harness don't line up with the notches in the holes for the receptacles on the export housing. So, before I start hacking new notches in to the housing holes of these overpriced tail lights, I'm I missing something here?

The export sockets were smaller than the factory US camaro tail lights! Just line it up close and put some elbow grease into it. I had the same problem! I wasn't about to start cutting on my exports! Be sure you have the brake light bulb in the brake light socket on the tail light etc.....It's a pain in the butt to get them back out if you mess up! Hope this helps!
I took an exacto knife and took a little material of the bulb housings to make them fit. I only needed to do it on one bulb on each side. The rest will go in with a little effort. I know how your feeling after forking out the cash for them, I didn't want to risk messing them up.
