i think that now that its summer and there isnt much chance of rain, im just going to wash the car down with water and dry it with my leaf blower like i would but skip the soap part.... as long as it doesnt rain and cause all that dust on my car to "mud-up"

i would think that the dust could just be blown off but i think that with the heat, the wax on the car gets slightly sticky and the dust attaches to it... maybe just water isnt going to help. ill see next week when i wash it...


i have even heard before about it being bad to wash black with soap... i dont think its true but how woudl you wash without the lubrication of soap? although i suppose that if you had your mitt and just sprayed the hell out of it with water constantly while you go back and forth, you might be keeping it lubricated with water enough that the scratches are minimized... i dont think soap really makes all that much of a difference when cleaning off dust
