BSM and SSM same thing? I have a 98 Z28. RPO code says "bright silver metallic" this is the same thing as Sebring Silver Metallic, yes?

I assume it is the same thing, but that's what the RPO code came up as. It looks the same as any other SSM I've seen so...

Well, it is a bright silver...perhaps its Bright Silver Metallic on trucks, and the Camaro version using the same paint formula is Sebring Silver Metallic? Kinda like Camaro' s Mystic Teal and Firebird' s Blue-Green Chameleon. Was the RPO decoder you used F-body specific, or just general GM?
