New headlight idea I had a brainstorm this afternoon thinking about LT1 headlights (don't we all 
). I've always liked how the LT1 Camaro lights are more recessed. What about painting the LS1 lights to look this way? It would be sort a follow-on to the Whistler mod.
Has anyone ever seen this done? Here is my rough edit with MSPaint to see what it would look like. Anyone care to photoshop a better one?

And here I was thinking I was being all original 
I think to pull it off, you'd have to paint the insides of the headlights black as well. That Z28 only had the bumper painted, which I'll admit doesn't look as good.

Ehhh I 'm partial, kinda looks like your car got in a fight lol...It definately accomplishes what your after though, as far as wanting to add depth, and make it look more recessed...

Sometimes I look at it and like it. Other times I don't. This might be one of those things I'd have to see in person first before I did it.
By the way, it does look like a black eye with only one painted.

Yeah, its been done before, Ive seen it and I dont like it. Looks like the car is wearking makeup, its bad enough the front of LS1 camaros look like a fish, now it would just look like a fish with mascara.
I guess im alone then, but i like it. If i could have a median between LS1 front and Lt1 front, id take it. I almost barfed when i saw the 98 camaro..now ive owned 3, lol, but always loved the recessed look. Go for it if you like it, its your ride, people on these boards often dislike anything that strays from the normal.
