My car is more function over fashion, but you did ask for clean bays.

As far as the hoses coming off the AC canister would just need to use Earl's braided line for AC applications($7-8/ft) and some Tubemate hose ends which allow a braided line to tube connection(10AN size, $17 each). I deleted my AC, so didn't need to worry about that. No need to pay somebody a fortune to do something you can yourself for very cheap. If you have money to burn, then more power to you. I have it to burn, but don't like to

Yea captain.. you think that

The stuff on my old car was nothing like the pep boys stuff.. teflon lined true braid, the AC stuff was carbon lined teflon so freon would not penetrate.

You get what you pay for and the slip on fake stuff looks.. well fake mostly..

But hey, to each thier own..

Hey Steve where'd you get that induction set-up from? I mean is it just a filter or what? I like the fan shroud as well. Any info on that because it looks damn sharp much like the rest of the engine bay.

Well "Captain",

It's not the "slip on stuff" that you're thinking of that goes over rubber hoses made by Spectre. It's actual braided lines that comes with EconoFit hose ends. I replaced those with chrome Earl's hose ends to match the rest of my stuff because they came with anodized ends. And if you read my post you saw that I acknowledge the AC lines need special hoses. I fully appreciate the work that was put into your car and have used your site many times to get ideas and expand on them. However, my point was that I like to do ALL of my own work, ie. custom FRCs, polish my own stuff, do all the installs from LT headers to all suspension work to sizing my braided lines. My thing is if I can do it myself why pay someone else not to mention the satisfaction factor. There are only so many companies that manufacture braided hose, Earls, Aeroquip and Russel. I only put the best in my car too. So I don't appreciate your assumption that my stuff is "fake" because it didn't cost me an arm and a leg by having someone else do the work and charge me a "custom price".

just a suggestion ...... looking at most of these engine bays ... they all look good but a few things stand out on most of them .... the yellow writing on the oil cap and the yellow dip stick tube handle
