There are several motorcycle aftermarket shops here in houston, one being Bayou City Billet, they do all sorts of things from chroming and polishing to powdercoating and painting. And since they work with motorcycles only I dont think that the small parts thing will be a problem. I dont know if they anodize but you could always check similar places near you.

I know there is a place in Piney Flats, TN that anodizes. I called them and they priced doing a set of LT headers for $60!!!! I will try to get the # for you, if you want to try shipping it to them. They do the headers of a lot of NASCAR teams. Say its better than ceramic coating.

I was under the impression that only Aluminum alloys were anodized. I also don't understand how it would work better than ceramic coating, since the purpose of that is temperature resistance? In either case, go with the powdercoating....it would be way more durable. If an anodized part gets the slightest scratch, you'll be able to see it.
well, actually anodized parts are quite hard to scratch (but they CAN be scratched), and anodizing is a rust inhibitor. Ceramic coating only sprays onto the metal. Anodize actually bonds to the metal thru use of acids and such. And no, most all metals can be anodized.

Steel and stainless steel can't be anodized; the process baths used to anodize aluminum would attack and dissolve steel parts.
I took the above from this site: http://www.anodizing.org/faqs.html
As for being a rust inhibitor, aluminum will not rust. It naturally develops an oxide layer, but I've heard that you can can "rust" it with mercury.
I'm not bagging on you here, I'm just interested to hear more about anodizing ferrous metals.
you can do it yourself.here's a link on how to do it.it cost about $100 for supplies but if you end up wanting more done it might be worth it.

hey matt, This is Derek from NEOFB. Check with Rob (lethal_ws6) He has a shop in Elyria where he does all of his powdercoating at a very reasonable price. He does a really good job to. Anyway, he does have some colors that look just like the blue and red anodized color. You should contact him on our site I'm sure he will hook you up with a great price. Give it a shot, nothing to loose by asking right?
