vfn hood question

anybody know if the vfn 3" ss hood is functional or not?

Our hood is functional, but not completely with a direct channel to the air box. The scoop is open in the front and back to draw and extract the cold/hot air. Your air box is in the front of the engine compartment so it will recieve the air.

gotcha, thanks. from the picture it looks like the scoop would have to be cut out, is that the case?
