Go to the Zaino web site and read their application steps. They give a good detailed explanation. I'd go to their tips and tricks section too.
Wash (dish detergent), Clay bar, wash, polish. Some people don't really like to wash their car more than once or don't see the need for it. I try to baby the car though, so I wash it twice...before and after the clay bar.

Generally if you are using the whole line-up:
Wash
Claybar
Wash/rinse
Polish as necessary to remove defects, etc.
Apply Z2 Pro or Z5 w/ ZFX
Z6 or Z8 wipe down
Dress tires and wheel wells
Done
