sorry i just found this thread... oops.. looks like i'm late... well as for the brackets there are 3 brackets that fit in the area of the fender/bumper area. should run you about $60 for all 6. there is one that runs in bumper that allows you to secure the upper part of the bumper to the top of the fender. also there is a bracket that the bottom the fender/bumper meet at... your old one will technically fit. but your fender/bumper will pinch inwards. there are two brackets the mate to form the same shape but allow for a perfect alignment.

As for the headlight motors... as it seems i'm already late if you have the money and tiem to pull the headlights back out i'd suggest upgrading the gear inside. eventually it will go out.. it not a question of if but when.

Did you figure out how to make both your lights and motor work with the old harness? it's pretty stright forward but if you need help let me know.

as for the headlights themself in lining up.. if you take the cover off there are some adjustments underneith. you can move the headlights in almost anyways you want. also you will find that if you adjust the hood stops you can raise and lower the hood.

I posted this in your other tread but i'd suggest getting the t.a rebumper... just because of the lines if you dont' have it your side skirts will look pretty retarded.

lastly a few things you might want to look into that you don't already have.. new tail lights. obvious. and windshield wiper arms.... Also one thing I foudn that added a few ponies was an LS1 intake box w/slp lid. not only does it just look better but really does help..

IF you have questions I have answers... at this point my conversion minus motor is 100% complete and it's flawless. I even replaced the whole interior with ebony including dash, headliner, sailpanels, door panels, blah blah blah EVERYTHING!!!. so my car minus drivetrain is all 02.

No... the headlight alignment is probably the most difficult... ALl you really need is $20 toolset from walmart and some time. FYI you must have a 10mm.. I'd suggest buying a couple also maybe buying some new bolts to replace old ones.. otherwise it's really straight forward... you have to realize this is basically what gm did.
