The 98-02s are all the same as far as the TAs go but other than that I'm not sure... sorry I couldn't help more but I figure this should help some. I think the Camaros are the same also

93-97s I've never paid attention to so those I can't even try to make a guess

Why do you want to cut it up. Several companys make different types of switches for them. I have a set from a company that fits perfect, but they aren't a sponsor so PM me for details.

I had a '93. The ashtray is definitely different than the '98-'02.

i had my own custom switch plate made on a CNC, i'll get some pics on here. maybe tonight. its sweet, but i wanna cut the bottom off the ashtray so i can run all my wiring through it. but i want to have an original on hand if i go back to stock

the gmpartsdirect number that was listed for an ashtray didn't come up as a valid part?

i went to yearone.com and they have one for like $6.50, but shipping was another $6.50! screw that!

anybody else know where i can look? my junk yards don't have any newer fbodies

Default pics

here is a pic of my switch panel that I made.

Switch Panel Pic

its plexaglass. I painted the backside black and then CNC'ed it from the back. I'm going to use the ashtray light underneath it so it will illuminate the lettering red at night. should look pretty cool

the holes on the top are for my switches
arm is to arm nitrous,
open to open the bottle
heat for the bottle heater
the center hole, left side is for the LED to let me know my cutout is fully opened
the center hold right side is for the switch for my line lock
bottom left is for the switch for my electric cutout
bottom right is for my purge push button

hey why cut the bottom out of your ashtray when you can just pop it out?

That panel looks great. Very nice

i'm going to fix that panel onto the ashtray so its slightly raised. i designed that panel for a friction fit into the hole the ashtray goes into, so if all else fails, i'll go that route. but having it on the ashtray would make it attach/dettach easily
