What kind of rear spoiler is that? I like it. ITs kind of like the older camaros (and berger super car). I dont care for the tall tails.

I think it depends on the look you're going for. If you're wanting that subtle, yet sporty look the SS hood fits better. If you're wanting that "Im gonna kick your door in, and take your daughter" look, then the Sunoco hood fits better.

Both hoods are great, and you're not gonna be disappointed w/ either.

silverZ98, We need to get some more NCoutlaw representation on the board

how in the world could you want an SS hood over a Sunoco?

Sunoco gets my vote!

I'm sure i'm biased, but I my favorite hood is the one I have by suncoast. At first glance it looks kind of stock ss, but the scoop flares wider toward the rear, not narrower like the ss. It's also a functional scoup. I do like that sunoco hood too though.

That IS a better looking SS hood. Pretty much any hood looks good on a black camaro. Does that suncoast hood have an air box above the intake like the 93-97 Suncoast SS hoods? I always thought that was a better idea then the stock 98-02 SS hoods.

I don't have the suncoast airbox, but Noyzee has a cool upsidedown airbox like that and when I asked him about it, he said it's a suncoast, along with his different suncoast hood. My hood does have a rectangular cutout that should match up perfectly to the suncoast airbox(which I would buy if I didn't already buy a house and my z in the last year). I was lucky, my car came with this hood and a borla cat-back

That sunoco is one of my favorite hoods too. I tell you though, I think the look of the hood is enhanced in that case because of the wide-body rear though. Ha this is funny, I just realized that wasn't a stupid pink stripe down the side. I would have parked next to a black or white car.
edit: Come to think of it I can't think of a hood I don't like on these cars

My car is a Z. I don't want it to look like the SS, so I would probably go w/the Sunoco.
