it looks like the one off of stock SS's but with about maybe 2 inches around the edge for you to work with. Wish i had my jegs mag that had a picture of it on there. any body still have it?
there's a guy that sells them on ebay (the scoops i mean) $75 plus 30 shipping, from reading his feedback all his stuff is good quality but he can be a little slow shipping... not sure what they cost from jeg's.. just throwin that out there.

This is the SS-style scoop from Harwood
I have to do it this way because a new hood from USA was to expensive with shipping to sweden. I did the scoop and paint by my self.

I could be really wrong but I don't think Harwood carries them anymore. I was looking a few months back for one for the '81 I'm doing... the scoop is pictured but when you click it says "no matches for ss" or something like that. Did you get yours recently? You or whoever did it did a very nice job!

I was very tired to look at my stock Z-hood, so I have to do something. I have the tools and paint to do this swap by my self, but if you have to pay someone to do a swap like this, I think you have to pay more for that than if you buy a copy hood.
I also have to tell, My hood is not a copy of an SS-hood, my car is an Z-28.
I think the scoop on the ss-hoods will be a copy from some old Ferrari or some other Italy car
so to buy the ss scoop off ebay and have it fabricated to look like its supposed to be there it would cost more money than to buy a ss hood and get it all painted??
