polishing stuff
polishing stuff Me and a friend of mine are going to attempt to polish various metal objects because we have nothing better to do. Specifically, we are starting with an aluminum datsun 280zx valve cover and a stamped steel control-arm off of a 64 impala. One problem, we dont know **** about polishing. Its one of those things where we kind of know what to do, but havent really gotten around to effectively applying what we know (which isnt much).
Is there any place to find resources and how-tos on polishing metal, or any personal experiences that anyone would like to share?

Any examples of polishing on f-bodies. I've already seen polished brake covers and A/C accumulators, but i wanna know what else people are polishing on f-bodies and how it looks with the rest of the car.
