Sharp car even though I'm not a fan of the Trans Am-style ram air hood (no matter what it's on)

So was the engine conversion hard?

normally i really don't like the WS6 style hood on a camaro, but with that body kit it somewhat works to me. looks like its time for a grill next

Argh....First post, and first bad comment about the hood. =/ If it makes any difference, I'm lookin' for an SS hood....Just don't have the cash at the moment. And the engine swap wasn't too bad. The car was ordered with LSD and 3.42's, so that didn't need to be changed. We changed the k-member, Y-pipe, lid, had to change to a mechanical gas pedal because the V6 was ETC, and surprisingly, the 2000 V6 dash harness mated up well to the 99 LS1 engine harness.

Ok I'm going to say it....hood looks gross as does the body kit. If you had posted a link to you car outside this site and said it was somebody elses I think more people would be inclined to say what they really think. But somebody had to say it...

With that said, congrats on the engine swap! Does that really make it a "Z28"?? or the same thing as if a Z28 gets a SS spoiler and Hood and changes it's badges? just giving you a hard time

I think the hood would look better if it was fitted properly, look at those gaps

I think that the hood is fine. Just the body kit, it just does not look right to me for some reason. Other than that its a sharp looking car. I like the rims as well

I think the car looks good, you get a different hood, spoiler, and lowered and you have one smokin car! Congats on the swap! I hope you dont take anyones comments to heart but its just advice. I like said add those things and you'll have a really really nice car!

congrats on the swap, sounds like it wasnt too bad. i would agree with the hood statements, go with a SS like you said, and it will look much better. overall nice car though, just some finishing touches and tweaks and you'll be set.

what did you do to the front clip ground effects? it looks nice and smooth
