Default Bought some stuff tonight (halos)

Got some chrome halos. Clear corners (diamond). Clear rear side markers (diamond). Plain Chrome license plate frame.Black Vinyl carbon fiber sail panel overlay, and a carbon fiber on silver front nose badge overlay (bfranker) Also some plain chrome center caps for my wheels (ss/zr1 style), they originally had ss in the middle and had to make it right.
Im going for the sleek and clean look and was wondering if you guys think I should remove my badges. I have my z28 badges red and think it looks pretty good, but think it might contrast with all the chrome stuff.
what u guys think?
And one other thing....how do the halos work. My lights come on automatically....so when do the blue halos show up?

I went for the same look. Halo's, clear markers, etc.. When I had all of the body work done (check my sig, pics not up-to-date though), I painted all of the emblems black. The only color on my car are my tail lights. IMO, the red Z28 is a nice little contrast. As for the halo's, I just wired mine to the fogs. You can basically hook them up anywhere you want, as long as it's a switched 12VDC line. I plan on hooking mine up to a seperate switch so I can turn them on/off whenever I want. I did the auto headlight mod so they don't come on automatically. This mod also disables the DRL's.

My car has no fog lights. The damn car is a stripper...not even any cruise control on the thing. Im surprised it has air conditioning...lol

will this effect my install not having any fog lights?

wish I could buy the ultra z hood....but it is just so expensive....it looks bad ***. Im probably going to go with the 3 inch harwood cowl...looks a lot better than the traditional cowl in my opinion

You can wire them to any of your lights. 12 volts is 12 volts. Side marker's, etc.......

Did a little searching and figured out what im gonna do.

Im going to disable my daytime running lights and my automatic lights by pulling the c2 clip in the drl module by the radio. The only downfall is the ebrake light doesnt come on...and I could care less, and I dont have a power hatch to worry about.

So I can just wire up the halos to my parking lights, then by going to one notch clockwise on my headlight dial activating my parking lights, this should also activate the halos without turning on the headlights. Does this sound good?
I am assuming that I will have to add some wire in to reach over to splice into the parking lights correct?

thanks again
