Custom license plate before/after

No tickets yet, had some cops (1 state, 2 counties) behind me 3 times in last 2 days. They didn't even look at me.
I'm leaning twards that plate came that way, playing stupid.

Cool plate! I saw a couple of Michigan cars at the Trans Am Nationals with black plates.
Indiana's plate definitely needs to be altered. But if we painted ours, it would be a blank canvas of whatever shade it was painted. Our plates aren't stamped anymore....they're smooth.

You might want to call and check with you local State Police post to see if it is legal. I know in our state that it is illegal to alter the plate in any way. But it does look nice!

I've been thinking about doing this to my front liscense plate. I got a white car and in ca- my liscense plate matches my cars body color. But the front liscense plate doesn't match my black billet grille. I had an aluminum grille but painted it black, so now that I seen how good yours looks I might have to paint my front liscense plate.

a POLICE OFFICER does his or her job. To keep peace and to UPHOLD the law. If you break the law (no matter how small the law might be in YOUR eyes) it is not the POLICE OFFICERS decision to ticket you or not. It is his or her DUTY.

looks sweet. You'd think this was a MI specific post with how many Mi peeps in here, haha. One guy I know in the area painted his plate black and then had the letters a candy red like his flames... it looked sweet and he got pulled over for it because he left the tags off. Dunno what would've happened if he left the tags on though.
