If you just want a chep-o car cover to offer some protection you can get one from Advanced Auto or AutoZone for 20 bucks. I bought one to keep the tree sap off my car while it was parked during the week. Hope that helps.

There's some products out there that claim to be able to be used in full sun. Some of the Poorboys stuff comes to mind.

Regardless, you still don't want to wash in full sun (especially on a car that's already been baking it in for some time.) That'll lead to some major water spots all over (glass, wheels, paint, whatever.) There's no time during the day you get any shade?
