Default Headlights hazy

ok so my headlights are super hazy, i was thinking about wet sanding them and then buffing them. anybody have any suggestions about what grit i should use or other methods?

Yep i just did mine with 400, then 800, then 1500 then polished with a clear lense polish and it came out very nicely. Mine aren't quite as good as new but they're MUCH better and look almost new.

I start out at 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, cleaner, polish, wax, and believe it or not, tire shine...the gel stuff you put on your tires? Put that on like you would a wax. Clears up any light residue or haze left. Literally, like BRAND new.

Anyone else used tire shine on their headlights?? Bout to go try, but wanted to see if anyone else used it and it worked for them.
